Long time since algebra for me, so this has been an excellent tool for helping with homework for my high school algebra student. It does not explain the rule or theory, but it does show the stepby step.We used it as a backup. After trying unsuccessfully to work a problem, if needed the process could be checkedagainst the manual. If still unable to understand the problem, the answer was left blank on the homeworkfor questions in class the next day. Have referred to it about six times this semester, usually ableto work it out without manual. It is a help for checking work if student is interested in learning why problem is wrong,and not just whether student arrived at correct answer.
It is a good supplement to the homework and the teacher's handouts. The key is to find the time to use it among all the homework. I think it is worth the money even it is on the expensive side.

It gives detail solutions for every problems in the book, except for the extra practices at the end of the book. I wish they also do that. Overall it Meets our expectation. I recommend it.
