This is a tough book to review and be objective. I would agree with about 50 percent of the authors conclusions, and find myself really struggling with the rest. And this from a reader who is very well versed in prophecy and agrees that the mainstream teachers probably miss the mark, more than hit it.First, I think the author nails it on both the past history of prior civilizations on earth and the reason for their demise. The pole shift theory explains so many questions logically and within the needed timeframes for science. I also agree that prior civilizations were much more advanced than we are and have given them credit for being. There is plenty of archaeological proof to back up the authors position on both of these points.,Where I have a problem, is with the Zodiac metaphors for the different bible events and people. Even the author admits in various places that it might be a stretch. I know the Zodiac is important to God and his plan for man is written in the stars. I'm just not sure it stretches to the extent that the author uses it too. But I will clearly say that this area of knowledge, is not my strong suit.A couple of other problems as well. We are now in the last week of July 2014, and nothing significant has happened to indicate the start of the 7 yr tribulation, as the author indicated it would in December 2012. So either I and a lot of other prophecy buffs are wrong about what happens in the tribulation, or the author just flat out missed the mark with his prediction. Time will tell on that.Also, I don't believe he got the timing right on the rapture or the second coming events right either. I know there are as many ideas about those events as there are people, and I am in no way claiming to have the answers, but there are just too many problems with his scenarios.I do think that overall the author is on track with some his timelines and how the polar shift could explain why and how the earth will be used for the end of this age and the beginning of the next, as in the past. One of the many reasons I think is timeline is close, is because of the blood moon cycle we are now in. Pastor and author Mark Biltz does great job with this in his latest book.None of us has all the answers with this stuff. It's always good to look at other viewpoints and then try to put the various pieces together, to try and figure out the puzzle. Though I don't think the author has put the puzzle together here, I do think he gives some very valuable pieces to use on the puzzle. Worth the read.

This book totally convinced me that David Montaigne knows what he's talking about. Most of it is an easy read. I must say that I got overwhelmed by some of the math and astrological points he made. They were necessary for making his case and I'm glad he included them; it's just that the subject matter at times was over my head. Thankfully, most of the book is not.He may be criticized for reading too much into the parables and prophecies; seeing only what he wants to see. I believe the preponderance of the information will validate his conclusions.This is not an easy book to read, but it's an important book to read. Who wants to know that they may have only six mores years of life left to them? Forwarned is forarmed and there will be survivors. You may be one if you know what to expect and when to expect it.

Excellent book containing chapters that show the Earth changes information from different perspectives. They all validate the core message of cyclical upheaval, via Pole shift & crustal displacement mostly triggered by central Galactic massive dust clouds & charged particle bursts, every 10-11 thousand years.As usual, a lot of this information has until recently been suppressed & disguised in lots of biblical texts, or known by the few high initiates of old mystic or religious orders -not deemed 'suitable' for ordinary people, who where & will be fairly ignorant of real Earth changes coming, choosing to believe only the orthodox & censored news.

In End Times and 2019, author David Montaigne presents a well-researched and logically presented, if somewhat verbose, argument for his take on the countdown to "The End". Montaigne draws a coherent argument combining ancient writings with forensic astronomy to date the "signs" that will identify the final years of life as we know it on planet earth. More than just another "Doomsday" book, this one attempts to integrate science with faith by interpreting Biblical writings as a sort of metaphorical "code" for specific astrological alignments. The evidence is well-presented and logically progressive, as long as one accepts the initial theory. For those interested in the primary subject matter, astrology or code interpretation, this is an novel and interesting twist on apocalyptic writing. Recommended.

While this book was fully documented ( something I appreciate) I believe that the author has taken way to much liberty in presenting facts to come up with his proposal. Though lengthy at times, in descriptions of ancient Mayan writings, the book reads very well and the author does come up with interesting ideas.
